The E2DAS  ST120 Smart Solar Tracker is a high-performance tracking and management system developed using domestic engineering expertise that maximizes the efficiency of solar power plants (SPPs). By instantly calculating the sun’s position in the sky, it continuously maintains the panels at the optimal angle, thereby maximizing energy production compared to fixed systems. The system features the most advanced technological hardware in its class, incorporating GPS, IMU (3-axis accelerometer and gyroscope), RTC (Real-Time Clock), LoRa, and RS485 communication infrastructure. Using GPS technology, it collects real-time location, altitude, and time data, processes this data through an auto-calibrated tracking kinematic algorithm, and provides millimeter-level position accuracy with an orientation accuracy of approximately 0.5∘0.5∘. The ST120 is equipped with an advanced protection and communication architecture designed to maintain the highest levels of field safety and operational stability. It automatically transitions to a safe horizontal position (Stow Position) during storms and high-wind conditions, while snow accumulation and low-battery voltage protection algorithms safeguard the system’s hardware. Even without a LoRa Gateway connection or central communication, it can continue tracking and protection modes independently (standalone) without interruption using its own internal architecture.
